1. WHAT IS GRANU FINK® PROSTA PLUS SABAL AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?

GRANU FINK® Prosta plus Sabal is a traditional herbal medicine.

Areas of application:

Traditionally used to strengthen or reinforce bladder function. This information is based exclusively on tradition and many years of experience. If symptoms of illness occur, especially sudden urinary retention or blood in the urine, a doctor should be consulted.

2. WHAT SHOULD YOU CONSIDER BEFORE TAKING GRANU FINK® PROSTA PLUS SABAL?

GRANU FINK® Prosta plus Sabal must not be taken: if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to pumpkin seeds, pumpkin-like plants such as watermelon, zucchini, etc., saw palmetto fruits or any of the other ingredients of GRANU FINK® Prosta plus Sabal.

When taking GRANU FINK® Prosta plus Sabal with other medicines:

No interactions are known. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.

When taking GRANU FINK® Prosta plus Sabal with food and drink:

No interactions are known.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding:

Due to a lack of studies, GRANU FINK® Prosta plus Sabal should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Children:

There are no adequate studies on the use of the medicine in children. GRANU FINK® Prosta plus Sabal should therefore not be used in children under 12 years of age.

Ability to drive and use machines:

No impairments are known.

Important information about certain other ingredients of GRANU FINK® Prosta plus Sabal:

This medicine contains lactose. Please contact your doctor before taking GRANU FINK® Prosta plus Sabal if you have been told that you have an intolerance to certain sugars.

3. HOW TO TAKE GRANU FINK® PROSTA PLUS SABAL?

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose for adults is 1 GRANU FINK® Prosta plus Sabal hard capsule 3 times a day. Please take the hard capsule before meals with plenty of liquid (e.g. a glass of water). In principle, there is no limit to the duration of use. Please read the information in section 2! Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of GRANU FINK® Prosta plus Sabal is too strong or too weak.

If you have taken more GRANU FINK® Prosta plus Sabal than you should:

If you have taken a significant overdose of this medicine, the symptoms known as side effects may become more severe. In this case, please inform your doctor. He or she can decide on any necessary measures.

If you forget to take GRANU FINK® Prosta plus Sabal:

Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

If you stop taking GRANU FINK® Prosta plus Sabal:

Interrupting or prematurely terminating treatment is generally harmless.

If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

4. WHAT SIDE EFFECTS ARE POSSIBLE?

Like all medicines, GRANU FINK® Prosta plus Sabal can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

When taking GRANU FINK® Prosta plus Sabal, stomach discomfort, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea may occur. Allergic reactions such as skin rashes, itching and swelling may also occur. If you experience any of the gastrointestinal complaints mentioned above, please inform your doctor so that he or she can decide on the severity and any necessary measures. If allergic reactions occur, GRANU FINK® Prosta plus Sabal should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted immediately if necessary.

5. HOW SHOULD GRANU FINK® Prosta plus Sabal BE STORED?

Keep this medicine out of the reach of children. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton or blister pack after “EXP”. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.

Storage conditions:

Do not store above 25 °C.

The other ingredients are:

Colloidal silicon dioxide, lactose monohydrate, sodium dodecyl sulfate, gelatin, purified water, iron (II,III) oxide (E 172), iron (III) hydroxide oxide x H2O (E 172), iron (III) oxide (E 172).
