Inhalation Solution for Secretion Mobilization

Inhalation of hypertonic saline solution is a widely used and accepted therapy for increasing secretion mobilization in the lower respiratory tract. Osmotic effects of the hypertonic saline solution can promote secretion mobilization and provide rapid relief to patients with cystic fibrosis.

The need for mobility and flexibility in everyday life is significant. Hygienic and safe application is also important for cystic fibrosis patients. To meet these requirements, PARI Pharma GmbH has developed the first ready-to-use, sterile hypertonic saline with a 6% concentration and a 4 ml filling volume. This provides patients with simple and hygienic administration at any time, even when on the go.

For secretion mobilization

Active ingredients

  • 240 mg sodium chloride

Excipients

  • Water for injections

Contents:
4 ml hypertonic sodium chloride inhalation solution (NaCl 6%) - sterile

Indication:
Increase in secretion mobilization in the respiratory tract in cases of mucus consolidation (cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis) due to osmotic effect.

Method of application:
Inhalation, e.g. with PARI jet nebulizer, VELOX or eFlow® rapid.

Please follow the instructions for use of the nebulizer you are using.

Dosage:
One ampoule (4 ml) 2 to 4 times daily as needed.
