PILOXIDIL alopecia treatment Composition:


1 ml of the preparation contains 20 mg of minoxidil for topical use.



Action: PILOXIDIL 2% solution 60ml alopecia treatment


The preparation uses the local action of minoxidil. It stimulates hair growth in male pattern baldness in men and women. In androgenetic alopecia, it positively affects the hair follicles, causing them to grow as a result of stimulating DNA synthesis. Hair improvement can also be associated with increased blood flow through the skin. The beginning of hair loss suppression is observed after about 2 months, the growth appears after 4 months, and the maximum effect - after about 12 months of systematic use of the preparation. After discontinuing treatment, after a few months it is possible to return to the initial state. Minoxidil is a pyrimidine derivative. When used systemically, it significantly reduces blood pressure through direct influence on smooth muscle of the arteriole and a significant decrease in peripheral resistance. It causes secondary stimulation of the sympathetic nervous system, acceleration of heart rate, increase of cardiac output and cardiac output, reduction of vascular wall sensitivity to catecholamines. It does not reduce renal flow. It is characterized by a high affinity to the walls of blood vessels. Metabolized in 90% in the liver to glucuronins excreted by the kidneys.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to minoxidil or other ingredients. Do not use during pregnancy and breast-feeding, and in people under 18 years of age and above 65 years of age Do not use the preparation on other areas of the skin except the skin, in the case of seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis. Caution in people with coronary heart disease or hypoxia of the myocardium.

PILOXIDIL alopecia treatment Interactions:
Do not use together with other preparations applied on the scalp (corticosteroids, retinoids, kerosene) as this may increase the probability of side effects. Minoxidil may increase the effects of antihypertensive drugs (guanethidine).



PILOXIDIL alopecia treatment Dosage:


Apply 1 ml of the solution twice a day to the scalp at the baldness site (or in a place at risk of hair loss). Spread the preparation with your fingers over the scalp. Apply on dry skin.
