Because of the layered structure and high viscosity formulation has a strong plastic properties of the coating in relation to the lining of the gastrointestinal tract. Through interaction with mucus glycoproteins present in the formulation increases the gel strength of the mucosal aggressive environments. As a result of the mucosal barrier of the gastrointestinal binding capacity and thus protects the intestinal mucosa.

Adults. Oral usually 3 sachets per day in 2-3 doses, mixed with 1/2 cup of water; acute diarrhea in early treatment can double the dose. Children orally in doses of 2-3 (when mixed with 50 ml of water, broth, stewed fruit, etc.) To 12 months of age 1 sachet per day; 1-2 yrs 1-2 sachets a day older than 2 years 2-3 sachets a day.In oesophagitis drug is administered orally after meals, other indications between meals. In the case of dehydration should be complemented by a deficiency of fluids.
