Skinoren Cream Azelaic acid cream Composition:


Active ingredient: 1 g of cream contains 200 mg azelaic acid.

 

Indications Skinoren Cream, Azelaic acid cream:


Acne vulgaris (gel), acne and blemishes (cream).

 

Skinoren Cream, Azelaic acid cream Action:


Zelenic acid exerts an antibacterial effect, inhibits excessive overexposure of the epidermis and reduces the formation of blackheads. It inhibits the growth of Propionibacterium acnes and Staphylococcus epidermidis , bacteria considered important in the pathogenesis of acne vulgaris. It also reduces the content of free fatty acids on the surface of the skin to facilitate the development of acne. In addition, it inhibits proliferative cytocytes, normalizing their final differentiation. It also inhibits excessive activity of abnormal melanocytes. Applied locally, it is slightly absorbed through the skin (about 3.6%).

Contraindications Skinoren Cream, Azelaic acid cream:
Hypersensitivity to the preparation Azelaic acid cream ingredients (especially to propylene glycol). At the beginning of treatment, mild local skin irritation (redness, itching, burning, dryness and peeling of the skin) may occur, which disappears spontaneously. Rare contact dermatitis and folliculitis, very rare allergic skin reactions, including rash. Contact with the conjunctiva should be avoided.

 

Skinoren Cream, Azelaic acid cream Dosage:


times a day - morning and evening - a thin layer of Azelaic acid cream or gel is applied to washed and dried skin (the preparation should be pat thoroughly). If skin irritation occurs, the medicine is used once a day or the treatment is stopped until the undesirable effects disappear. Acne treatment should last at least 4 weeks; full effect is usually achieved after several months of use. The treatment of discoloration is used for at least 3 months.
