Active ingredients: sodium alginate, sodium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate

Indications: Treatment of acid-related symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux such as heartburn, acid regurgitation and dyspepsia eg. after meals or during pregnancy.

Warnings: Contains sodium compounds, menthol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218) and propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 216).

Heartburn - origin & symptoms
Stomach pressure, feeling of fullness, acid regurgitation and heartburn are all signs of a so-called reflux disease. This can be caused by certain foods or your own eating habits. In some cases, fluctuations in the hormonal balance, such as during pregnancy, intolerance to medication or stress can also be the cause. The symptoms typical of heartburn occur because the factors mentioned can impair the function of the sphincter muscle between the stomach and the esophagus, and in this way stomach acid rises up into the sensitive esophagus.
