  • ACATAR Control. Drug that will reduce runny nose in infections (bacterial, viral), and restores the comfort freely breathe through the nose is Acatar Control 0.05%. A medicament nasal spray that comprises oxymetazoline hydrochloride.

ACATAR Control Composition:
1 ml of solution contains: active substance: 0.5 mg, oxymetazoline hydrochloride and the inactive ingredients: benzalkonium chloride, edetate disodium, propylene glycol, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, purified water. Each dose contains up to 0,025mg oxymetazoline hydrochloride.

Function ACATAR Control:
Used in the drug active substance - oxymetazoline hydrochloride reduces nasal congestion. In addition, it limits the production of mucus, and it all leads to unblock the nasal passages and facilitates breathing. Aerosol Acatar Control 0.05% act to decrease nasal congestion, leading to enlargement of the opening and the outlet pipes of the paranasal sinuses, and unlocks the Eustachian tube. The drug by streamlining the process of removing secretions helps to cure bacterial infection. Therapeutic effects are maintained for 12 hours. The liquid after application does not leak from the nose or throat flows. ACATAR Control Application:
The medicinal product Acatar Control 0.05% aerosol indicated for use on mucosal edema that occurs during acute inflammation, eg. Rhinitis, allergic rhinitis and sinusitis, and inflammation of the middle ear and inflammation of the Eustachian tube.

Additional information ACATAR Control:
Keep out of reach of children, at room temperature. One pack of the drug should only be used by one person. Should be used within one month after first opening.

ACATAR Control Contraindications:
not be used in case of hypersensitivity to active substance or other excipients contained in the medicament. Do not use the dry rhinitis, glaucoma with narrow angle glaucoma, and also in children under 6 years of age.

Side effects ACATAR Control:
during treatment there may be side effects: common - burning of the nasal mucosa, nasal dryness, sneezing; uncommon - palpitations, increased blood pressure and increased heart rate (occurring after topical, nasal application); rare - anxiety, fatigue, headaches, insomnia.

Dosage:
Use only nasal. Adults and children over 12 years: apply one dose to each nostril, apply 2-3 times a day. Children 6-12 years: apply one dose to each nostril, apply 2 times a day. It is not suitable for long term use, it is recommended to be used for 3-5 days, and 7 days is the maximum duration of treatment. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.
