  • The medicinal product Sal Vichy contains a mixture of alkaline salts. The drug is in the form of effervescent tablets. Artificial Vichy salt has choleretic and cholagogic properties, and SAL Vichy also has a neutralizing effect on the acid content of the stomach.

Composition of Sal Vichy:

One tablet SAL Vichy contains: active substance - 600mg (including: sodium bicarbonate, sodium chloride, sodium hydrogen phosphate anhydrous, sodium sulfate anhydrous, potassium bicarbonate) and excipients: sodium bicarbonate, sucrose - 38mg, sodium benzoate, tartaric acid; including ions: Na (+) 220mg, K (+) 8mg, CO3 (2-) 492mg, Cl (-) 27mg, SO4 (2-) 16mg, HPO4 (2-) 8mg.

Operation of Sal Vichy:

The mixture of alkaline salts contained in Sal Vichy neutralizes the acid content of the stomach. In addition, it increases the blood alkaline reserve. The drug also has cholagogue and cholagogue. It prevents the formation of gallstones. The preparation SAL Vichy is in the form of effervescent tablets intended for the preparation of the solution. A solution made of 10 tablets (6g) per liter of water has a composition similar to natural Vichy water.

Additional information: The product SAL Vichy should be kept out of reach of children at room temperature. Protect against moisture. Use of the drug during pregnancy and lactation only after consulting a doctor. Caution should be exercised in people on a low-sodium diet, in people with reduced kidney function, in people who control the amount of sodium in the diet, the drug contains up to 9.60mmol (220.73mg) of sodium in one dose. The drug contains sugar, caution should be exercised in diabetics. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug SAL Vichy. Do not use in the case of inflammation of the urinary tract, inflammation of the renal pelvis and bladder.

Side effects:
Some people may experience side effects while taking this medicine. Frequent intake of high doses of salt can lead to constant alkalization of urine. This medicine contains sodium, which may increase your blood pressure.

Dosage of Sal Vichy tablets:
