For the prevention and treatment of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis, C. canis) with a duration of action of 7 to 8 months. The veterinary medicinal product prevents flea larvae from developing in the immediate vicinity of the animal for 8 months. The veterinary medicinal product can be used as part of the treatment strategy for allergic skin inflammation (flea allergy dermatitis, FAD) caused by flea bites. The veterinary medicinal product has a sustained acaricidal (killing) effect on tick infestation with Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus,

Dermacentor reticulatus, as well as a repellent (anti-feeding = preventing blood meal) effect on tick infestation (Ixodes ricinus and Rhipicephalus sanguineus) with a duration of action of 8 months. The veterinary medicinal product is effective against larvae, nymphs and adult ticks. It is possible that ticks that are already present on the dog at the time of treatment will not be killed within 48 hours of putting on the collar and will remain attached and visible. Therefore, the ticks that are already on the dog at the time of treatment should be removed. Protection against infestation with new ticks begins within two days of putting on the collar. 

The veterinary medicinal product provides indirect protection against the transmission of the pathogens Babesia canis vogeli and Ehrlichia canis by the vector tick Rhipicephalus sanguineus. This will reduce the risk of babesiosis and ehrlichiosis in the dog over a period of seven months. To reduce the risk of infection from the pathogen Leishmania infantum transmitted by sand flies over a period of up to 8 months. Treatment against hair infestation (Trichodectes canis). Pharmacy only.
