Retaron® liquid

What is Retaron® liquid?
Retaron® liquid is a dietetic food for special medical purposes (supplementary balanced diet). Retaron® liquid is suitable for supplementary balanced nutrition/dietary treatment for age-related eye diseases such as age-related macular degeneration.

What properties do the ingredients of Retaron® liquid have?

• Lutein and zeaxanthin occur naturally as antioxidant pigments in the retina, but decrease with age. The highest concentration is found in the macula lutea, the point of sharpest vision on the retina.
• The chokeberry (Aronia melanocarpa) is a native wild fruit shrub with dark berries. These berries contain flavonoids, with the content of these bioactive plant compounds being particularly high in chokeberries.
• The trace elements zinc and selenium, as essential components of antioxidant enzymes in the human body, also improve the protection of cells against oxidative stress. Zinc
  contributes to the maintenance of normal vision.
• Vitamins C and E are part of the body's natural defense system against free radicals and the "oxidative stress" they cause. The composition of Retaron® liquid
  corresponds to scientific findings and is adapted to the special nutritional requirements of patients with age-related macular degeneration in order to strengthen the eye's natural protective mechanisms against environmental and aging influences. The content of vitamins C and E as well as the trace elements zinc and selenium is therefore increased. This can delay the further progression of age-related processes in the eye.

Recommended Age related macular degeneration, RETARON liquid dosage :
Retaron® liquid is particularly easy to take. You should consume 1 portion daily, preferably with a meal, and take the capsule with the contents of a drinking bottle. With Retaron® liquid, the nutritional needs of patients with AMD are specifically covered. Therefore, regular and long-term use is recommended.
