Ibutop gel is a painkiller and anti-inflammatory product for topical application in painful degenerative joint diseases (arthrosis), inflammatory rheumatic diseases of the musculoskeletal system, swelling and inflammation of the surrounding soft tissues (tendon ligament and joint capsules), myalgia, lumbago; in sports injuries and accidents, such as injuries, sprains, sprains.

IBUTOP gel for pain and inflammation of muscles and joints Contraindications:

Do not use Ibutop gel in case of hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or other preparations with the same mechanism of action, as well as in case of hypersensitivity to any of the excipients.
Ibutop gel should not be applied to open wounds and mucous membranes, skin inflammations and infections such as eczema or mucositis.

Active substance: Ibuprofen 5 g.
Excipients: 2-propanol, 2,2-dimethyl-4-hydroxymethyl-1,3-dioxolane, poloxamer, medium chain triglycerides, aromatic substances, water.

IBUTOP gel for pain and inflammation of muscles and joints Dosage:

Ibutop gel is applied 3-4 times a day. Depending on the affected area, 4-10 cm of the gel is applied and rubbed gently into the skin. This amount corresponds to 2-5 g of gel (respectively to 100 - 250 g of ibuprofen). The maximum daily dose is up to 12 g of gel, corresponding to 600 g of ibuprofen.
After applying the gel, it takes a few minutes for the gel to dry before wearing a garment.
The penetration of the active substance through the skin can be enhanced by iontophoresis (a special form of electrotherapy). Ibutop gel should be applied to the cathode (negative pole). The current should be 0.1-0.5 mA for 5 cm 2 of the area of ​​the electrodes and the duration of treatment is about 15 minutes.

Duration of use: The duration of treatment is determined by a doctor. In most cases, application for 1-2 weeks is sufficient.

Possible side effects:
