The advantages of Birkengold tooth powder at a glance:
There are countless forms of dental care products on the market, such as toothpastes, tooth powder or pressed dental care tablets. Which type you prefer is primarily a matter of taste. What matters, however, are the ingredients! The following three basic ingredients are used in Birkengold's tooth powder:
Note: Due to the natural ingredients, accidental swallowing is harmless.
Ingredients (INCI): Calcium Carbonate, Xylitol (100% from birch and beech bark from Finland), peppermint oil* (Mentha piperita oil), ginger oil* (Zingiber officinale root oil), clove oil* (Eugenia caryophyllus bud oil), Eugenol**, Limonene**.
* from organic farming
** natural component of essential oils
Xylitol (also known as xylitol or birch sugar) was discovered at the end of the 19th century. But it only became widely known during World War II, when it was used as a substitute in Scandinavia due to a sugar shortage.
The xylitol contained in Birkengold tooth powder is obtained exclusively from birch and beech bark. The trees come from sustainable forestry in Europe and are left over during wood processing. No trees are felled specifically for this purpose. Production takes place in Finland and Austria. Birkengold can therefore guarantee GMO-free xylitol of the highest quality .
Note : Birkengol has taken care to use calcium carbonate with a very small particle size in order to achieve a low RDA value (approx. 45). In addition to the particle size of the cleaning agent, the toothbrush used (soft, medium or hard) and other factors such as the pressure applied when cleaning and the cleaning technique are also responsible for abrasion.
