Composition of Bronchostop Duo cough syrup:

Active substances: thyme extract (Thymi herbae extractum siccum) and marshmallow root extract (Althaeae radicis extractum fluidum). 15ml contains 120mg of dry extract of Thymus vulgaris L. and / or Thymus zygis L. herba (thyme herb) (7-13: 1), extraction solvent: water and 830mg of Althaea officinalis L. radix extract (marshmallow root) (1: 12-14), extraction solvent: water and excipients: xylitol (E967), methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), raspberry juice concentrate (containing sucrose, glucose and fructose), raspberry flavor (natural and artificial flavors, propylene glycol (E1520)), xanthan gum, citric acid monohydrate (E 330), maltodextrin, acacia, purified water.

Additional information:
Store the product out of reach of children, at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. A doctor should be consulted if you develop a fever or if you experience shortness of breath or purulent discharge. It is not recommended for use in children under 3 years of age. It is not recommended to use the drug in women during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The drug contains methyl parahydroxybenzoate and propyl parahydroxybenzoate, which are preservatives that may cause allergic reactions (including delayed-type reactions). The drug contains xylitol, therefore it may have a laxative effect (caloric value 2.4 kcal / g xylitol). The drug contains raspberry juice concentrate, which contains sucrose, glucose and fructose (66 mg of fructose in 15 ml, in the case of previously diagnosed intolerance to some sugars or hereditary fructose intolerance, consult your doctor before taking the drug). The drug contains propylene glycol (33.3 mg of propylene glycol in 15 ml)

Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug, thyme, marshmallow root and other plants belonging to the Lamiaceae family.

Side effects:
Some people may experience side effects while taking the drug. Not known: Hypersensitivity reactions (including one case of anaphylactic shock and one case of Quincke's edema) and gastric symptoms have been reported with the use of medicinal products containing thyme.

Dosage of Bronchostop Duo syrup for cough:

Use the drug as prescribed by your doctor or according to the instructions on the leaflet. Use the measuring cup included in the package to measure the syrup. It is recommended to drink the syrup undiluted (if necessary, the syrup can be diluted in water or warm tea). Adults, adolescents over 12 years of age: use 15ml every 3-4 hours, 4 times a day (or 6 times a day). The maximum daily dose is 90 ml. Children from 6 to 12 years of age: use 7.5 ml every 3-4 hours, 4 times a day (or 6 times a day). The maximum daily dose is 45 ml. Children from 3 to 6 years of age: use only after prior consultation with a doctor. Treatment time: up to 7 days. If there is no improvement or your symptoms worsened after 7 days, consult your doctor.
