Oregano – Good things from nature

Oregano (Origanum vulgare L.) originates from the mountainous regions of the Mediterranean, is a spice plant and is also called wild marjoram. Oregano, a member of the mint family, is a popular spice that was already very popular in ancient Greece and Egypt.

For centuries, the bitter and tannin substances contained in oregano have been valued, especially by the inhabitants of the Mediterranean region. It is also enjoyed as a tea on a variety of occasions.

Why the essential oil is so valuable

Oregano plants consist of approximately 0.1 to 1% essential oil. For Dr. Jacob's oregano oil capsules, this is gently extracted from the plant using steam distillation. The essential oregano oil contains the particularly valuable components carvacrol and thymol (phenolic monoterpenes).

Each capsule contains 133 mg of oregano oil, which consists of 3.5% thymol and 70% carvacrol. The oregano oil is embedded in pure, first-class olive oil.

Vegan, stable and optimally absorbable

Most capsules with liquid contents contain gelatin of animal origin in the capsule shell. This is different with Dr. Jacob's oregano oil capsules. They are vegan, meaning they contain no animal ingredients. Another advantage is that the liquid capsules used (GREENCAPS) ensure optimal stability and absorption of the oil contained.

Recommended dosage:
Take 1 capsule 1-2 times daily with a meal. Please do not open the capsule as the contents are very concentrated
