Carduus marianus/Viscum Mali comp., liquid dilution for injection. Indications: In accordance with anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature. These include: stimulation of the anabolic metabolism in chronic inflammatory and sclerotizing liver diseases, e.g. chronic liver inflammation (hepatitis), liver cirrhosis. Adjunctive therapy in malignant diseases.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: INFORMATION FOR THE USER

Carduus marianus/Viscum Mali comp., liquid dilution for injection

Composition:
1 ampoule contains: Hepar bovis Gl Dil. D7 0.1 g (HAB, Vs. 41a), Silybum marianum e fructibus ferm 36 Dil. D2 0.1 g (HAB, Vs. 36), Viscum album (Mali) e planta tota ferm 34i Dil. D4 0.1 g (HAB, Vs. 34i). Other ingredients: sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate, water for injections.

Indications:
According to anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature. These include: stimulation of the anabolic metabolism in chronic inflammatory and sclerotizing liver diseases, e.g. chronic liver inflammation (hepatitis), liver cirrhosis. Adjunctive therapy in malignant diseases.

Contraindications:
This medicine must not be used in cases of known allergy to mistletoe preparations.

Precautions for use and warnings:
There is no sufficiently documented experience with the use of this medicine in children. It should therefore not be used in children under 12 years of age.

Dosage and method of administration:
Unless otherwise prescribed, inject 1 ml subcutaneously 2 to 3 times weekly.

Duration of use:
Treatment of an illness should be completed after 2 weeks. If no improvement occurs within this period, a physician should be consulted. The duration of treatment for chronic illnesses requires consultation with a physician.

Side effects:
A slight increase in body temperature, localized inflammatory reactions around the subcutaneous injection site, and temporary mild swelling of regional lymph nodes are harmless. In cases of intolerance to mistletoe, local or general allergic or allergy-like reactions such as generalized itching, hives, skin rash, facial swelling (Quincke's edema), chills, shortness of breath, and shock may occur, requiring immediate discontinuation of the product and medical treatment.
