It contributes to the stimulation of intestinal peristalsis and to support regular bowel movements. Thus, it prevents constipation and the formation of compact fecal masses. Macrogol softens the fecal matter, which makes it easier to expel it. The preparation is recommended for symptomatic treatment of constipation. It has an osmotic effect in the intestine, providing a laxative effect. It naturally regulates the work of the intestines. Macrogol is not absorbed and not metabolized in the gastrointestinal tract.
