PANGROL. The medicinal product Pangrol 10000j.m. PANGROL has the form of capsules with minitablets, which are resistant to adverse effects of gastric juice. Each capsule PANGROL contains pork pancreatin, the source of pancreatic enzymes.

PANGROL Composition:
One capsule PANGROL contains: active substance - pork pancreatin with enzymatic activity: lipase - 10,000 j.Ph.Eur., Amylase - 9000 j.Ph.Eur., Protease - 500 j.Ph.Eur. and auxiliary substances: (mini tablets) croscarmellose sodium; microcrystalline cellulose; castor oil, hardened; anhydrous colloidal silica; magnesium stearate; 30% aqueous suspension of a copolymer of ethylacrylate with methacrylic acid (1: 1), type C; triethyl citrate; simethicone emulsion 30%; talc; (capsule) gelatin; iron oxide red (E 172); quinoline yellow (E 104); yellow iron oxide (E 172); indigotine (E 132); titanium dioxide (E 171).

PANGROL Action:
Pangrol 10000j.m contained in the Panigol medicinal product. Pancreatin is a powdered pork pancreas. The product complements pancreatic enzymes, which improves digestion. The pancreatin used in the drug is not absorbed, it is excreted in the faeces. The preparation is in the form of capsules with unique mini-tablets resistant to gastric juice.

PANGROL Application:
The medicinal product Pangrol 10000j.m. indicated for use to supplement pancreatic enzymes in the case of digestive disorders, which are caused by the lack or insufficient secretion and / or action of pancreatic enzymes in the duodenum. Preparation PANGROL for the use of the abovementioned disorders in the case of: chronic pancreatitis (regardless of the cause, i.e. alcohol, autoimmune, spontaneous, drug-induced, traumatic, tropical calcification); cystic fibrosis; narrowing of the pancreatic duct (in the case of, for example, neoplastic disease or gallstones); hepatic and biliary disorders; total or partial resection of the pancreas, pancreas and duodenal puncture; accelerated intestinal transit after a resection of the stomach and small intestine or caused by stress or inflammatory bowel disease; eating heavy digestible plant foods, fats or foods for which the digestive system is not used and the resulting impaired absorption of nutrients and indigestion; celiac disease; inflammatory bowel disease; diabetes; syndrome of acquired immunity; Shwachman's band; Sjogren's band. The product is suitable for use in adults and children.

PANGROL Additional information:
Keep the product out of reach of children at room temperature. Use PANGROL in pregnant women and lactation should consult a physician. If the contents of the capsule are cracked, the enzymes contained in it may damage the oral mucosa. The azo dye contained in the composition may cause allergic reactions.

PANGROL Contraindications:
Do not use in the case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug, including pork. Do not use in the case of acute pancreatitis, acute attacks in the course of chronic pancreatitis and in the phase of exacerbation of the disease.

PANGROL Side effects: Adverse reactions
may occur during use. Very rare: immediate-type allergic reactions (rash, watery eyes, sneezing, bronchospasm), allergic reactions from the gastrointestinal tract) after taking pancreatic enzymes; in patients with cystic fibrosis: strictures in the ileocecal region and in the ascending colon (after taking high doses of pancreatic enzymes), increased uric acid excretion in urine (mainly in people taking high doses of pancreatic enzymes).

PANGROL Dosage:
Use as directed by your doctor or follow the instructions on the leaflet. In adults, the recommended dose of lipase is 20000-40000j.Ph.Eur per meal. It is recommended to take 2-4 capsules for each meal. Any increase in the dose may only take place after consultation with a physician. For children, the dosage is determined individually by the doctor. The capsules should be swallowed whole, with plenty of water. In the case of difficulty swallowing, the contents of the capsule can be mixed in a small amount of water, drink immediately after preparation, do not chew and chew mini-tablets, drink copiously.
