Vitamin D has been used in infants to prevent rickets for many years. However, research in recent years shows that vitamin D has an important function for the entire body and not just for the bones. Approximately every second person in Germany does not have an adequate supply of vitamin D because, among other things, vitamin D-rich foods such as fish or liver are not consumed enough.

Our body can produce vitamin D itself with the help of the sun (UVB rays), which is why vitamin D is also referred to as the sun vitamin. However, our lifestyle does not seem to be suitable for maintaining a sufficiently high level of vitamin D in the blood.

Recommended dosage:
For adults, take 1 capsule daily with a little liquid with the main meal. Children over 3 years one capsule every other day. The capsules can be opened if necessary, eg by children, by pulling them apart and the contents can be eaten with other foods.
The recommended daily dose should not be exceeded. Keep out of the reach of small children. Dietary supplements are not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Pregnant women should coordinate intake with their doctor.
