Relief for very watery eyes The Artelac ® Lipids drip gel provides particularly long-lasting relief for dry and watery eyes. In watery eyes, the outer layer of the tear film, the so-called lipid layer, is often defective. Artelac ® Lipids complements and stabilizes this outer layer.

  • Medium chain triglycerides (lipids)
  • Preservative: cetrimide


RECOMMENDED USE:
Remove the protective cap from the top of the bottle before each use. Be careful not to touch the drip tip. Tilt your head back slightly and gently pull the lower eyelid down with one finger of your free hand. Hold the bottle vertically over the eye with the drip tip pointing downwards, taking care not to touch the eye. Squeeze the bottle to drop 1 drop into the lower conjunctival sac. Put the protective cap back on the bottle tip after each use. Then close your eyes, move them back and forth slightly and blink so that the gel drop is well distributed on the surface of the eye.

Remove contact lenses before the drop and put them back in after at least 15 minutes.

AGE
Due to hormonal changes and with increasing age, women in particular suffer from a decrease in tear production, the symptoms of which are alleviated by artificial moistening of the eye.

DRYING EYES The
causes of watery eyes are often disorders in the function of the eyelids or the tear organs. However, excessive evaporation of the tear film with a deficient lipid layer can also be a reason for this.
