CORDES BPO with the proven active ingredient benzoyl peroxide (BPO) is an anti-acne medicine for application to the skin. In contrast to many products from the drugstore, the effectiveness of CORDES BPO in so-called endogenous acne, which is caused by the body's own metabolism, has been proven by scientific studies.


Used regularly, CORDES BPO can help you achieve visibly better skin after just a few weeks.

CORDES BPO Gel is available without a prescription.

CORDES BPO works in two ways:

1) Exfoliating
CORDES BPO loosens the top layer of calluses on the affected skin. Calluses are removed and the pores remain free. Excess sebum and pus can drain away, existing impurities heal faster.

2) Antibacterial

CORDES BPO removes the breeding ground for acne bacteria and thus ensures that impurities do not become infected and pimples heal faster. The active ingredient releases reactive oxygen in the upper layers of the skin and inhibits the growth of bacteria - the number of bacteria decreases. In addition, blackheads are reduced. Good to know: In contrast to antibiotics, which are often used for the external treatment of acne vulgaris due to their antibacterial effect, therapy with BPO does not lead to resistance. So you can use the active ingredient regularly without losing its effect on the bacteria.


Which potency is right for me?

CORDES BPO is available in three different strengths:

CORDES BPO 3%
Do you have blackheads and pimples mainly on your face? Your skin reacts quickly irritated and reddens quickly? In this case, we recommend CORDES BPO 3% - the mild formula for sensitive facial skin.


CORDES BPO 5 %
Do you have blackheads and pimples mainly on your face? Nothing makes your skin blush so easily? Then we recommend the top seller – CORDES BPO 5%. For normal skin, or if the 3% formula isn't enough for you.

CORDES BPO 10%
Is your skin insensitive? Lower concentrations of active ingredients do not have the desired effect? Is your chest or back also affected by pimples? Then we recommend you the strongest formula – CORDES BPO 10%.

How do I use CORDES BPO?
If you have sensitive skin, you may want to apply CORDES BPO once a day in the evening at first, later up to twice a day until the acne has improved.

Step 1 - Cleanse:

Cleanse your face or affected areas with a mild cleansing gel that does not promote blackheads. You should be careful when washing: do not massage in the gel and do not rub vigorously to avoid skin irritation. Finally wash it off with lukewarm water.

Step 2 - Dry:

Dry your face or affected area with a clean towel. You should also avoid vigorous rubbing and rubbing here.

Step 3 - CORDES BPO

When your skin is completely dry, apply a thin layer of CORDES BPO Gel to the affected areas with a finger (do not massage in). The healthy skin is spared. Always make sure your hands are clean.

Tip! – Wash your hands

After applying you should wash your hands thoroughly. The gel has a bleaching effect on fabrics, so clothing and bed linen can fade on contact. Therefore, make sure that you keep the gel away from textiles and use e.g. B. white towels.
