The ingredients of iodine-calcium capsules Dr. Wolz come from natural sources of iodine seaweed and coralline algae. During the Ice Age, iodine was leached from our soils and as a result our foods are low in iodine.

Iodine is needed to build thyroid hormones. These regulate the function of the entire body such as energy consumption, physical and mental performance2. For this, the thyroid gland of adults needs approx. 150 µg iodine daily, children from 1-10 years approx. 100 µg iodine. Furthermore, hormones for calcium metabolism are formed in the thyroid gland.

Dried seaweed is a natural source of iodine for dietary supplementation with iodine. Controls ensure quality. Calcium is important for maintaining healthy bones. Calcium intake should be at least 800 mg for adults. The calcium in the iodine-calcium capsules Dr. Wolz comes from coral algae and is of natural origin. Consumption is not recommended if you have an overactive thyroid.
