Strabismus, amblyopia, Leukoplast eye occlusor ®



The prophylaxis and therapy of strabismus and amblyopia require a lot of patience from the mostly very young patients.

In addition to reliable light protection, an eye occlusion plaster must also take the needs of the children into account. Leukoplast eye occlusor was specially developed for children and toddlers with sensitive skin. All patches are supplied ready-to-use and hygienically individually sealed and can be used on both eyes.

Leukoplast eye occlusor is skin-friendly and has a good fit. The eye occlusion plaster has good immediate and permanent adhesive power.

Leukoplast eye occlusor consists of a stretchable polyamide-based synthetic fiber fleece coated with a skin-friendly polyacrylate adhesive. Leukoplast eye occlusor is 100% latex-free to eliminate the risk of latex reactions.

To support occlusion therapy

Leukoplast ® eye closure consists of a chemically bonded, flesh-colored, crosswise stretchable nonwoven substrate based on polyester, which is porous coated on one side with an acrylic adhesive.

A non-woven pad with a light protective layer is placed centrally on the coated side of the dressing.

The adhesive mass of the Leukoplast ® eye closure is completely covered with two white release papers that are siliconized on one side. The bottom release paper has a crease that is overlapped by the top release paper. Leukoplast ® eye closures are cut to oval shapes, sealed in printed paper and packed in folding boxes.
