Description:
BLUpan medical OSD form a sterile, preservative-free, viscoelastic, clear protective film for the cornea. BLUpan medical OSD contain sodium hyaluronate, the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid, which, due to its special physical properties, forms an even, stable and particularly long-lasting protective film on the cornea without impairing vision. In addition, BLUpan medical OSD contains provitamin B5 (dexpanthenol), which, due to its high water-binding capacity, has the ability to moisten and care for the eye. This effectively supports the moisturizing properties of sodium hyaluronate. The combination of sodium hyaluronate (stabilizes the tear film) and dexpanthenol (nourishing, soothing) protects and moisturizes the surface of the eye and makes it lubricated. It therefore provides long-lasting relief from symptoms associated with:

• mechanical stress, e.g. when wearing hard or soft contact lenses or during diagnostic procedures on the eye,
• Environmental stress, e.g. from air conditioning, wind, cold, dryness or air pollution, e.g. from cigarette smoke or
• for strained eyes, e.g. when working on computer screens, microscopes or during long car journeys.

Because they are preservative-free, BLUpan medical OSD is particularly well tolerated even when used over a longer period of time. BLUpan medical OSD is also suitable for contact lens wearers. The contact lenses do not need to be removed when using the eye drops.

Application:
To open the bottle, remove the safety ring by pulling on the pre-made tab until it is completely removed. Then lift the cap off by pulling upwards. Tilt your head back a little, look up and pull the lower eyelid slightly away from your eye. Hold the bottle with the dropper opening facing downwards and apply a drop into the conjunctival sac of the eye 3 - 5 times a day by applying strong, sustained pressure. Close your eyes slowly so that the liquid can spread evenly over the surface of the eye. Avoid touching the dropper opening with your eye or hands. Any drop that may still be on the dropper opening should be removed by gently tapping the bottom of the bottle. Now put the cap back on the bottle by applying light pressure. If symptoms worsen or there is no improvement, consult your ophthalmologist. The bottle's special sterile air filter system also means that after each withdrawal, a few seconds must pass without applying pressure to the bottle so that enough air can flow in again. Without this waiting time, further withdrawal is difficult. In addition, for physical reasons, this requires a little more pressure as the bottle empties.

Composition:
1 ml contains: sodium hyaluronate 0.15%, dexpanthenol 2%, sodium chloride, sodium citrate, citric acid, water for injections.

Precautions and warnings:

• Do not use if bottle or seal ring is damaged.
• Do not touch the eye with the dropper opening of the bottle.
• Do not use if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.
• In very rare cases, the use of eye drops may cause irritation in very sensitive eyes.
• If you are also using other eye drops/eye ointments, an interval of 15 minutes should be observed between applications. BLUpan medical OSD should then always be administered last.
• Do not use on infected or injured eyes.
• After use, visual acuity may be temporarily reduced. In this case, do not drive or operate machinery until your visual acuity returns to normal.
• Do not use the eye drops after the expiry date. This is printed on the label and the carton.
• Due to the special innovative sterile filter system of the dropper insert, a small amount always remains in the bottle.
• Do not use the product for longer than 12 months after first opening the bottle.

Storage:
Store at 2°C to 25°C. Protect from frost. Replace the cap on the bottle after use. Store the bottle in the original carton, protected from light.
