MAGNETRANS® FORTE 150 MG HARD CAPSULES Magnesium is involved in over 300 metabolic processes: in maintaining healthy bones, in energy metabolism, in building up proteins and much more. Magnesium deficiency can manifest itself in a correspondingly diverse manner. Magnetrans® Forte is used when there is a proven magnesium deficiency if this is the cause of muscle activity disorders, such as muscle and calf cramps.

Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the recommended dose for adolescents and adults is 1 capsule in the morning and 1 capsule in the evening. Take the capsule with a little liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water).

Both certain drugs and minerals can reduce the absorption of magnesium. Aminoquinolines (against malaria), quinidine and related substances (for cardiac arrhythmias), certain antibiotics and penicillamines (for rheumatism) should therefore not be used while taking the Magnetrans® capsules.

Magnetrans® forte should also not be taken at the same time as iron, fluorides or tetracyclines (certain antibiotics). Because they influence each other when they are absorbed into the body.
There should be at least 2 to 3 hours between taking these substances and the magnesium capsules.
