A home test for determining the concentration of TSH, i.e. thyroid stimulating hormone, in a sample. Hormone TSH medical device is a cassette test to be used in order to initially assess the condition of the thyroid gland, as well as in the diagnosis of its diseases. A positive test result means that the TSH concentration is above normal, which may indicate hypothyroidism, so it is recommended to consult a doctor. The test is quick to perform - the result is obtained after 10 minutes, it is sensitive (sensitivity: 5uIU / ml) and the result is reliable. A result below 5uIU / ml should be consulted with a doctor if it is accompanied by symptoms such as, among others, feeling hot, palpitations, excessive nervousness, high blood pressure, weight loss.

How to use the TSH hormone test thyroid disease diagnose, TSH thyroid stimulating hormone test:

Before use, it is recommended to read the instructions for use. Before the test, wash your hands with soap and water and then dry them. Carefully remove the cassette and pipette from the sachet. Disinfect and massage the middle finger pad to increase blood circulation. Press the lancet firmly against the disinfected fingertip, press the button which ejects the blade (the lancing device tip will retract automatically). Then gently massage the punctured finger until a drop of blood is obtained. Bring the tip of the pipette close to the drop of blood, you do not need to press the pipette, the blood automatically migrates through the capillary to the special line marked on the pipette. Transfer the blood to the sample well of the test plate by squeezing the tip of the pipette. All drawn blood should be placed in the sample well. Remove the blue cap, add diluent to the sample well. Leave for 10 minutes, then read the result. The reading after 15 minutes is invalid. Interpretation of the result: positive result: above 5mIU / ml - two lines (C and T); negative result: below 5mIU / ml - one line (C); incorrect result - one line (T).
