  • The indications for the use of Creon 10000 is exocrine pancreatic insufficiency in children and adults. Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency in cystic fibrosis. chronic pancreatitis, gastrointestinal obstruction trzus

Composition:
1 capsule. 10 000 contains 150 mg of pancreatin containing enzyme: 10 000 j. Ph. Eur. lipases, 8 000 j. Ph. Eur. 600 amylase and j. Ph.Eur. proteases.

Action:
Concentrate exocrine pancreatic enzymes pork. With multiple-dose formulation, the formulation is suitably mixed with the ingesta, and with it leaves the stomach, and release the enzymes are evenly distributed in the food. After passing into the small intestine minimikrosfer coating dissolves, releasing enzymes with lipolytic, proteolytic and amylolitycznym.

Indications:
Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency in children and adults. Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency in cystic fibrosis. chronic pancreatitis, obstruction of the pancreatic duct or the common bile duct (eg. a cancer) after removal of the pancreas or the stomach, gastrointestinal anastomosis (gastroenterostomy-type Billroth III).

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. The early stage of acute pancreatitis.

Pregnancy and lactation:
The product can be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding only if clearly needed.

Undesirable effects:
Common: abdominal pain. Uncommon: constipation, abnormal stools, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, skin hypersensitivity reactions.

Dosage:
Oral. Dosage is individual and depends on the degree of pancreatic insufficiency patient and the composition of the diet. The most commonly used starting dose is 10000-25000 j. Ph. Eur. lipase for the main meal. On average, it is recommended to administer 20000-50000 j. Ph. Eur. lipase during meals. Children with cystic fibrosis are administered j 2000-6000. Ph. Eur. lipase / kg / day; dose should not exceed 10,000 j. Ph. Eur. lipase / kg / day.
