Do you suffer from thick coughing mucus that has settled in your bronchial tubes? Then the MUCOSOLVAN® lozenges will help you cough up better. The active ingredient ambroxol liquefies the secretion stuck in the bronchi and thus frees the bronchi and lungs. The cough mucus is dissolved, the airways are cleared and at the same time protected from new mucus.

It is not always possible to stay at home with a cold cough. Then the practical form of taking the MUCOSOLVAN® lozenges is ideal, because they are the cough syrup you can suck on on the go. The lozenges loosen the cough mucus, clear the bronchi and allow you to breathe deeply again.

This is how MUCOSOLVAN® lozenges work
The MUCOSOLVAN® lozenges develop their effect when taken in the mouth. The first effect can be felt as soon as you suck it, because the dissolving of the lozenge in the throat area soothes irritated areas in the throat. In addition to its main expectorant effect, ambroxol also has a stimulating effect on the cilia in the bronchi. The fine hairs that cover the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract support the self-cleaning function and remove cough mucus.

Application and dosage
Due to the good tolerability of MUCOSOLVAN® lozenges, symptomatic treatment can already be carried out in children aged 6 years and over. While children should take a lozenge two to three times a day, adults and teenagers aged 12 and over can use 4 to 6 lozenges throughout the day. If the bronchi have a lot of mucus, it is possible to increase the dose to 8 lozenges per day. This corresponds to the maximum daily dose of 120 mg ambroxol. MUCOSOLVAN® lozenges contain no lactose or alcohol and are also suitable for diabetics. To support the effect of the lozenges, it is advisable to drink enough fluids throughout the day. This increases the expectorant effect.
