These include: Harmonization of the interaction of sensation and life organization in the venous system, e.g. hemorrhoids, varicose symptom complex, inflammation of venous vessels with thrombus formation (thrombophlebitis).

Hirudo comp., Globuli velati

Composition:
10 g of Globuli velati contain: Aesculus hippocastanum e semine ferm 34c Dil. D2 0.1 g (HAB, Vs. 34c), Hamamelis virginiana e cortice ferm 33e Dil. D2 0.1 g (HAB, Vs. 33e), Hirudo medicinalis ex animale toto Gl Dil. D5 0.1 g (HAB, Vs. 41c), Mercurius vivus Dil. D14 aquos. 0.1 g, Paeonia officinalis e radice ferm 33c Dil. D2 0.1 g (HAB, Vs. 33c), Pulsatilla vulgaris e floribus ferm 33c Dil. D2 0.1 g (HAB, Vs. 33c). Contains sucrose (saccharose/sugar) and lactose.

Indications:
According to anthroposophical understanding of man and nature. These include: Harmonization of the interaction of sensation and vital organization in the venous system, e.g., hemorrhoids, varicose symptom complex, inflammation of venous vessels with thrombus formation (thrombophlebitis).

Contraindications:
None known.

Precautions for use and warnings:
There is insufficient documented experience with the use of this medicine in children. It should therefore not be used in children under 12 years of age. This medicine contains sucrose and lactose. If you know that you suffer from an intolerance to certain sugars, please only take Hirudo comp. after consulting your doctor.

Dosage and method of administration:
Unless otherwise prescribed, dissolve 10-15 globules velati under the tongue twice daily.

Duration of use:
Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks. If no improvement occurs within 2 days, consult a doctor. The duration of treatment of chronic illnesses requires consultation with a doctor.

None known.
