1. Breaking the cell wall
VulnoCyn ® washes around single-cell microorganisms. The ingredient HOCL attacks the cell wall of the microorganisms and increases their permeability (permeability for liquids).

2. Osmolysis - bursting of the cell
The hypotonic solution ensures that more water flows into the cells to compensate for the osmotic gradient. The physical effect of osmolysis (unspecific osmotic shock) occurs: the cells burst due to the increasing internal pressure.
