  • Wound healing gel. Hydroloids gel accelerating healing - Help4Skin Wound healing - is a medical device containing carboxamide-stabilized carbomer. The product can be used for both dry and moist wounds.

Composition:
Acidic colloid carbomer, carnosine, water, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate.

Action:
Effectiveness of the gel consists in regulating the microenvironment of the wound, which accelerates its healing. The main component of Help4Skin Gel Wound healing is an acidic carbomer stabilized with carnosine, a peptide naturally found in the skin. In dry wounds it has an occlusive effect, which means that it limits transepidermal water loss. Carnosine acts as a buffer for acidic polymers, i.e. acts as an antioxidant. In the case of moist and oozing wounds, the carbomer absorbs excess fluid and softens the place where the bandage or patch comes into contact. The gel does not adhere to the wound.

Application:
Medical device Help4Skin Wound healing gel for use in dry and wet wounds such as wounds, scratches, cuts, abrasions, skin cracks, surface burns. Preparation for use from the age of 2.

Additional information:
Does not contain parabens. Keep the product out of reach of children at room temperature. If skin irritation occurs, the preparation should be discontinued immediately. The use of the preparation should be consulted with a physician if heavily infected wounds or deep and extensive wounds.

Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the gel. Do not use on the face, eyes, eyelids and mucous membranes.

Directions for use:
For external use. With closed wounds: first clean and disinfect the wound, then apply the gel to the wound, avoiding contact between the tip of the applicator and the surface of the wound. If necessary, you can put on a bandage or patch. With open wounds: first clean and disinfect the wound, gently but thoroughly dry it with sterile gauze. Then apply a thick layer of gel (about 0.5-0.75 cm), taking care not to touch the wound with the tip of the applicator. Fit the bandage or patch. The dressing should be changed at least once a day. When a scab appears on the wound, reduce the amount of gel applied.
