In addition to the immune system, it is mainly the intestinal mucosa and the body's own intestinal flora that protect our organism from harmful substances that enter our intestines every day through food. The intestinal flora in particular, with its billions of bacteria such as bifidobacteria and lactobacilli, effectively protect our body from the harmful influences of unwanted substances and molecules.

In order for the intestinal bacteria to be able to functionally protect our organism, there must be sufficient numbers of these microorganisms in our intestines. The number of bacterial cultures depends largely on their food supply. The main source of food for intestinal bacteria is food components that are indigestible for humans and primarily fiber. However, fiber is not tolerated equally well by everyone. These fiber intolerances often result in a feeling of fullness, abdominal pain, flatulence and/or unpleasant diarrhea.

BallaststoffPur consists entirely of fiber, which is fermented particularly slowly in the intestine. This means that the fiber it contains is not broken down too quickly by the intestinal flora. This property makes the BallaststoffPur product particularly suitable for sensitive digestive systems. In addition, BallaststoffPur contains the secondary plant substances curcuma, quercetin and polyphenols from green tea extract.

Guar gum Guar gum is obtained from the seeds of the guar bean, which originally come from India and Pakistan.
The flour consists largely of vegetable mucilage, which has the ability to bind large amounts of water.

Fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS)
Fructo-oligosaccharides are indigestible oligosaccharides and are therefore categorically classified as polysaccharides. These oligosaccharides are composed of one sucrose molecule and several fructose molecules.
Functionally, the FOS serve as a nutritional basis for the effective intestinal bacteria. The special thing about FOS is that harmful intestinal bacteria and the human organism cannot utilize them. This makes the FOS an effective nutritional basis for intestinal bacteria.

Acacia fiber
Acacia fiber is obtained from the trunk of the African acacia tree. This natural fiber consists of more than 80% soluble fiber.

Resistant dextrin
Resistant dextrin (corn dextrin) is a soluble fiber that is particularly well tolerated and does not burden the intestines with undesirable effects (e.g. flatulence), even in larger quantities. The fiber serves as food for the intestinal bacteria.

Recommended consumption
1 measuring spoon once daily (equivalent to 11, Put 5 g) in an empty glass before a meal, top up with 300 ml lukewarm water and apple juice (optimal ratio: ⅔ water, ⅓ apple juice), mix well or whisk and let it swell for at least 5 minutes.
