Vividrin Azelastine Combo Pack contains the active ingredient azelastine, which belongs to a group of drugs known as antihistamines. Antihistamines prevent the effects of substances (such as histamines) produced by the body in connection with an allergic reaction. Azelastine reduces inflammation in the eyes and nose. It is used for the symptomatic treatment of seasonal allergic rhinoconjunctivitis (e.g. hay fever in combination with allergic conjunctivitis) in adults, adolescents and children from 6 years of age. If you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 2 days, contact your doctor.

"Strong double" in acute hay fever symptoms of the eyes and nose
Around 13 million adults in Germany suffer from hay fever1, which is either triggered seasonally by pollen or throughout the year, e.g. B. house dust or animal hair. Typical symptoms include itching, redness or irritation of the nose and eyes, tearing, excessive sneezing and a runny or stuffy nose. Vividrin® ^_Azelastine combination pack acts quickly and reliably against acute symptoms of the nose and eyes. The well-tolerated drug with the proven active ingredient azelastine contains eye drops and nasal spray and helps with seasonal allergic rhinitis and seasonal allergic symptoms in the eye.

With triple effect
In the event of contact with allergens, the body's own defense cells release more of the inflammatory messenger histamine, triggering an immune reaction. The well-tolerated active ingredient azelastine has a triple effect against the annoying symptoms: it inhibits the histamine receptors and thereby reduces the typical symptoms such as a tingling nose or reddened eyes. In addition, the immune cells are stabilized and the release of histamine is reduced. In addition, azelastine has an anti-inflammatory effect.2, 4

RECOMMENDATIONS Azelastine hydrochloride nasal spray, VIVIDRIN Azelastine combination pack FOR USE:

Vividrin ^® Azelastin NASENSPRAY
The recommended dose for adults and children over the age of 6 is 1 spray in each nostril twice a day. Blow your nose and remove the protective cap. Before first use, pump several times until an even spray comes out. Hold your head up and give 1 spray of Vividrin ^®Azelastine nasal spray in each nostril. Do not tilt your head backwards. Then wipe the pumping device and put the protective cap back on. If the nasal spray has not been used for more than 6 days, the dosing pump must be activated again by pressing the pump mechanism several times until a fine spray comes out.

Vividrin ^® Azelastine EYE DROPS
Tilt your head back and gently pull your lower eyelid down. Now drip 1 drop of Vividrin ^®Azelastine eye drops in the center of the lower eyelid. It is important to ensure that the dropper attachment does not come into contact with the eyes or skin. Let go of the lower eyelid and press your finger lightly against your nose from the inner corner of your eye. Blink slowly several times to distribute the drop over the eyeball. Repeat the process on the other eye and close the bottle with the screw cap immediately after use.

For hay fever

Hypersensitivity to bee and grass pollen often causes swollen, red or itchy eyes and a tingling, runny or stuffy nose. Vividrin ^® azelastine combination pack can provide quick and long-lasting relief for severe, acute symptoms.

Countless triggers make things difficult for the sensitive nasal mucosa and conjunctiva: allergies to pollen, animal hair, house dust mites or mold spores cause unpleasant symptoms. An anti-allergic such as Vividrin ^® Azelastine combination pack works reliably against the symptoms of the allergy and is also well tolerated.

For children

Children are just as often affected by allergic symptoms. Due to its good tolerability and rapid effect, Vividrin ^® Azelastin combination pack is already suitable for children with seasonal allergies (for use in adults, adolescents and children from 6 years of age).

How long can Vividrin ^®Azelastine eye drops are used?
During exposure to allergens (grass and flower pollen, house dust, etc.), Vividrin ^® Azelastine eye drops should be used regularly until the symptoms have disappeared. Overall, the treatment should not last longer than six weeks without consulting a doctor.

What can happen if hay fever is not treated?
If severe hay fever symptoms such as severe sneezing, a runny or stuffy nose or conjunctivitis are ignored, there may be a risk that the allergy will spread to the lower respiratory tract and cause allergic asthma. In this case one speaks of a so-called floor change.
