Dobenox Forte 500 mg as the active substance contains calcium dobesylate monohydrate. It is a drug indicated for the symptomatic treatment of venous insufficiency of the lower extremities, varicose veins of the lower extremities and haemorrhoids.

Composition of Dobenox Forte 500mg:

Active substance: calcium dobesilate monohydrate (Calcii dobesilas monohydricus). One tablet contains, respectively, 500 mg of calcium dobesilate monohydrate and excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, potato starch, lactose monohydrate, talc, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica, Opadry II coating 57U18539 White composed of: hypromellose, polydextrose, E 171 titanium dioxide , maltodextrin, medium chain triglycerides.

Operation of Dobenox Forte 500mg:

Calcium dobesylate is an active substance that positively affects the condition of blood vessels and the rheological properties of blood. It improves the elasticity of vessels and seals them, and also reduces blood viscosity (affects the concentration of fibrinogen in the plasma and on platelets). All this facilitates blood flow through the vessels and reduces the tendency to develop swelling. The medicinal product Dobenox Forte 500mg protects the vessels and improves venous circulation, therefore it is indicated for the treatment of symptoms of venous insufficiency of the legs and anus.

Application:
The medicinal product Dobenox Forte 500mg indicated for use in the symptomatic treatment of chronic venous insufficiency of the lower extremities (feeling of heaviness in the legs, pain and night cramps, paresthesia, edema, skin changes against the background of blood stagnation), varicose veins of the lower extremities and haemorrhoids.

Additional information:
Store the product out of reach of children, at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding: a doctor should be consulted, however, the use of the drug in the first trimester of pregnancy is not recommended, unless absolutely necessary and the benefits for the mother outweigh the potential risk to the fetus. The drug should also not be taken during breastfeeding. The drug contains lactose (50 mg in one tablet) - people with known intolerance to certain sugars should discuss the possibility of using the drug with their doctor.

Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug.

Side effects:
Some people may experience side effects while taking the drug. Usually the side effects disappear when treatment is stopped. Rare: nausea, diarrhea, skin reactions, arthralgia.
