KELO - COTE spray is a light, self-drying silicone gel for treating scars. Kelo-Kot gel dries quickly to form a film, the silicone gel is oxygen permeable, elastic and waterproof.
KELO - COTE spray forms a bond with the stratum corneum (the top layer of dead cells), forming a protective barrier against chemical, physical and microbial entry into the scar site, while hydrating. An environment is created that allows the scar to heal by normalizing the cycle of collagen synthesis and improving the physiological and cosmetic appearance of the scar.


KELO - COTE spray is indicated for smoothing, softening and smoothing, relieving the itching and discomfort associated with the scar, as well as reducing the discoloration associated with them.
Silicone gels have been shown to be effective in treating hypertrophic, atrophic and keloid scars. The International Clinical Guidelines for the Treatment of Scars recommend that "silicone should be the first choice in the treatment of scars and in the prevention of hypertrophic scars and keloids.

KELO - COTE spray Purpose:
KELO - COTE spray is a gel for scars with an innovative formula designed for the treatment of old and new hypertrophic and keloid scars due to surgical procedures, injuries, wounds and burns
KELO - COTE spray is suitable for use by children and people with sensitive skin.

How to use KELO - COTE spray:
Make sure the affected area is clean and dry.
Apply a very thin layer of KELO - COTE spray and let it dry.
Apply KELO - COTE spray twice a day.
For maximum effect, Kelo-Kot should have 24 hours of skin contact. Once dry, KELO - COTE spray can be applied under bandages or other therapeutic products such as sunscreen or makeup. If the KELO - COTE spray does not dry within 4-5 minutes, you have probably used too much product. In this case, carefully remove the excess product.

The recommended treatment time is 60-90 days. Larger scars may take longer and prolonged use is recommended if improvement is still seen after the first 90 days.

Drying tips:
KELO - COTE spray drying is aided by the temperature difference between the gel and the skin. To reduce drying time in warm climates, keep KELO - COTE spray in the refrigerator. In cold weather, use the lowest degree of hair dryer to reduce drying time.

Caution:
Avoid direct contact with eyes, mucous membranes, third degree burns and open wounds. KELO - COTE spray should not be used in dermatological conditions that impair the integrity of the skin.
KELO - COTE spray can stain clothes if the treated area is not completely dry.
For external use only.
If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
Keep this product out of the reach of children.
Store below 25 ºС.
Do not use after the expiry date which is stated on the tube.
