  • Abiofem is a vaginal gel that naturally supports the treatment and prevents the recurrence of bacterial vaginosis (BV).

Abiofem works by restoring and maintaining the normal bacterial flora of the vagina. It is recommended in the prevention and support of the treatment of bacterial vaginosis (BV).

Abiofem contains lactic acid, which effectively neutralizes embarrassing unpleasant odor and restores the proper pH of the vagina. It also contains glycogen, which is a source of nutrients for lactic acid bacteria. The correct pH and the presence of nutrients allow the growth of protective lactic bacteria and restore the natural balance in the vagina.

When to use:
Abiofem combats unpleasant odor, abnormal secretion and discomfort and restores pH to the right level, it can also be used to maintain the natural pH of the vagina and prevent the recurrence of symptoms.

Abiofem is a single-dose water-based gel containing lactic acid and glycogen. Both components enable restoring and maintaining the proper pH of the vagina.

Dosing:
In therapy:
- For effective relief of unpleasant odor, abnormal secretion, discomfort and BV.
Use 1 applicator per day for 7 days.

In prophylaxis
- To maintain the natural pH balance and prevent the recurrence of symptoms.
Use 1 applicator every third day for three months.
- Supportive to maintain the pH level during antibiotic treatment.
Use 1 applicator per day at the end of treatment for 4-5 days.
- If symptoms return before menstruation.
Use 1 applicator per day at the end of menstruation for 1-2 days
