What is Gelencium ^® EXTRACT and what is it used for?

Gelencium ^®EXTRACT is a high-dose herbal medicine for the targeted treatment of joint pain and osteoarthritis. ¹ The highly concentrated HPG2400 extract serves as the active ingredient.

How does Gelencium ^® EXTRACT work?

For more than 15 million Germans, joint pain is part of everyday life, sports and work. In the overwhelming majority, joint wear (osteoarthritis) is the cause. Gelencium ^® EXTRACT has been approved for highly concentrated therapy in all degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system (osteoarthritis). Compared to most previous therapies (daily dose: 960 mg), patients with the contained HPG2400 extract ingest 2,400 mg of active ingredient daily. ²The following effects develop in the body:

1. Relief of joint pain
In a clinical study with osteoarthritis patients, joint pain relief of more than half was observed. ¹
2. Improvement in mobility
In a clinical study with osteoarthritis patients, an improvement in joint mobility and a reduction in joint stiffness were observed. ³
3. Good tolerance
Thanks to the purely herbal ingredients, Gelencium ^® EXTRACT is well tolerated. More than 97% of all users have no side effects whatsoever. ⁴

Who is Gelencium ^® EXTRACT suitable for?

Due to the high degree of effectiveness and the good tolerability of the HPG2400 extract, patients with recurring joint pain or osteoarthritis (joint wear) in particular benefit from taking it.1 Gelencium ^® EXTRACT does not interact with other drugs and is therefore ideal as long-term osteoarthritis therapy. The patients feel a significant reduction in joint pain and an increase in quality of life. ¹

What's in Gelencium ^® EXTRACT?

Gelencium ^®EXTRACT contains the highly concentrated HPG2400 extract as an active ingredient. The amount of active ingredient absorbed daily is 2,400 mg. In comparison, the standard daily therapy dose of most comparable drugs is 960 mg.2 The valuable extract is obtained in a complex process from the powerful storage roots of the well-known osteoarthritis medicinal plant Harpagophytum procumbens and processed in tablet form. The analgesic and exercise-promoting effects of the herbal ingredients have been extensively proven in clinical studies. A high level of effectiveness has been documented in particular in the case of degenerative joint pain such as osteoarthritis. ^1,2

How should Gelencium ^® EXTRACT be used?

Gelencium ^®EXTRACT is swallowed whole with some liquid morning and evening after meals. Adults over 18 years of age take 2 tablets twice a day (total: 2,400 mg extract).
The application is not limited in time - Gelencium ^® EXTRACT is approved for long-term therapy. Due to the very good side effect profile, the European Scientific Cooperative on Phytotherapy (ESCOP) recommends taking it for at least three months. ⁵
