ForMeds PRENACAPS Multiplan, vitamin d in pregnancy 30 capsules

PRENACAPS multiPLAN is a set of 7 ingredients recommended during pregnancy planning.
The product includes, among others
+ 800 µg Quatrefolic® - methylated form of folic acid with research-proven high bioavailability
+ methylcobalamin - methylated form of vit. B12
+ 2000 IU of natural vitamin. D3 from lanolin
+ iodine and DHA from small fish (anchovies).
PRENACAPS multiPLAN has been tested for microbiology and heavy metals.
Supplementation should be started at least 12 weeks before the planned pregnancy. The optimal doses for each woman may vary depending, among others, on from possible deficiencies of individual components and the risk of fetal defects.

Folic acid and vit. B12 are ingredients that must be converted to a methylated form after ingestion for the body to use them. PRENACAPS multiPLAN contains methylated forms of vit. B12 (methylcobalamin) and folic acid (Quatrefolic®), which do not require transformation and are "ready" for direct use by the body.
For methylated forms of folic acid and vit. B12 should pay attention to, inter alia, women at increased risk of fetal defects. This group includes, among others people with a disturbed process of converting ingredients into their active forms, using hormonal contraception, smoking, taking certain medications, with problems with the digestive system, kidneys and liver, and with too much body weight. The recommended dose of folate for the group at increased risk of fetal defects is 800 µg per day (in combination with vitamin B12).

RECOMMENDED vitamin d in pregnancy DAILY AMOUNT Take

1 capsule once a day with a meal.
1 capsule contains (reference intake%):
Folate (Quatrefolic®) - 800 µg (400%),
Vitamin B12 - 3.5 µg (140%),
Vitamin D3 - 50 µg (1000%) / 2000 IU,
Vitamin E (? -TE) - 12 mg (100%),
Iodine - 150 µg (100%),
Iron - 18 mg (128%), DHA - 160 mg.
