The Tantum Verde ^® mint flavored lozenges are used to treat pain and irritation in the mouth and throat. With their anti-inflammatory effects, the lozenges belong to the group of anti-inflammatory drugs. Tantum Verde ^® has a local anesthetic effect ¹ , which means it specifically numbs the pain in the mouth and throat. The medicine with the active ingredient benzydamine relieves the pain quickly ² and ensures freedom from symptoms for up to 3 hours. ³ The Tantum Verde ^® lozenges are also available in lemon and orange-honey flavors.

The anti-inflammatory and The local anesthetic effect of Tantum Verde ^® lozenges is suitable for a number of applications. In addition to throat problems (such as a sore throat caused by a viral cold, slight scratching or burning in the throat), these also include irritated respiratory tracts, the symptoms of which include hoarseness. In addition, Tantum Verde ^® lozenges are suitable for treating pain and irritation in the mouth, for example caused by hot foods and drinks or hard food ingredients. Furthermore, Tantum Verde can^® can be used for inflammation of the mucous membranes with painful blisters (stomatitis aphthosa), inflammation in the mouth (mucositis) and difficulty swallowing.


RECOMMENDED USE
For adults and children aged 6 and over, the usual dose is 3 Tantum Verde ^® lozenges daily. For children between 6 and 11 years of age, the medicine should be taken under adult supervision. Allow the lozenges to slowly melt in your mouth. They should neither be swallowed nor chewed. No more than 3 lozenges should be taken per day and the duration of intake should not be more than 7 days. If you don't feel better or feel worse after 3 days, contact your doctor.

If you have an intolerance to certain sugars, the medicine should only be used after consulting a doctor.


TANTUM VERDE ^® LOW TABLETS FOR COLDS
