Weleda Ratanhia comp. drops
The drops are used externally for inflammation of the gums and oral mucosa, aphthous ulcers and periodontitis. Ingredients such as myrrh, ratanhia root and clove blossoms have long been used for oral complaints.
Unless otherwise prescribed, 15 drops are added to half a glass of water daily and used for mouth baths. The drops should not be used on infants in their first year of life.

What is Ratanhia comp. and what is it used for?
Areas of application according to the anthroposophical understanding of man and nature.
These include: Excessive metabolic processes in the gums and oral mucosa, e.g. inflammatory changes, pressure points and bleeding tendencies, aphthous ulcers.
If symptoms persist or are unclear, a doctor must be consulted.
How is Ratanhia comp. used?
Unless otherwise prescribed, add about 15 drops to half a glass of water several times a day and use as a mouthwash.
Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over can also massage their gums several times a day with the undiluted Ratanhia camp solution.
For use in dental practice:
Ratanhia camp. is applied to the affected mucous membrane areas. For longer, intensive exposure, compresses soaked in the solution are used.
Note:
Contact of Ratanhia camp. with the eyes must be avoided at all costs.
Any clouding of the liquid has no effect on its effectiveness or tolerability. To ensure even distribution when dispensing, the bottle should be shaken before use.
Treatment for acute inflammation should be completed after 2 weeks. If no improvement occurs within this period, a doctor should be consulted. The duration of treatment for chronic diseases requires consultation with the doctor.
