NEOLEXAN SR Composition:

1 tablet contains 150 mg of 5-hydroxytryptophan.
The other ingredients of the tablet are: microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, povidone, copovidone, coloring film.

What is 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP)?
5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) is a substance that is formed in the human body from the essential amino acid tryptophan, which enters the body through food.
In the brain, 5-hydroxytryptophan, in turn, is converted to serotonin, a substance that transmits nerve impulses between brain cells. Serotonin is also known as the "happiness hormone".
Supplemental intake of 5-hydroxytryptophan in tablet form increases serotonin levels in the brain.
5-hydroxytryptophan also indirectly affects dopamine levels, which helps maintain the balance between serotonin and dopamine in the brain.

NEOLEXAN SR Description:
NEOLEXAN SR contains 150 mg of 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) in the form of prolonged-release tablets. Prolonged release of the active substance allows the drug to be taken only 2 times a day and at the same time the levels of the active substance in the body remain constant. This guarantees adequate and safe operation of NEOLEXAN SR throughout the day.

NEOLEXAN SR Purpose:
Neolexan has a beneficial effect on the following conditions:

1. Mood, tone and daily activity
Normal levels of serotonin in the brain have a beneficial effect on our mood, tone and daily activity. When serotonin levels are permanently lowered, this is expressed in a lack of interest in daily activities, lack of energy and ability to concentrate, feelings of helplessness, hopelessness and sadness, uselessness and inadequacy, poor sleep, decreased sexual activity, significant increase or loss of weight, fatigue, etc. Sometimes these conditions can continue and worsen our quality of life.
