Chlorhexidine is a substance with well-established disinfecting, antibacterial and antifungal effects. It has been proven to keep the oral cavity free of plaque and the gums or skin folds in good condition. It is particularly effective in the oral cavity and unlike other substances, chlorhexidine binds to proteins and enamel and is released slowly over the next 24 hours. Dentihex has a special paste formula that allows for easy application and absorption of the product by animals and adherence to the oral mucosa and teeth. The formation of tartar and plaque can be slowed down or even eliminated with regular use of Dentihex, which has an impact on maintaining a proper oral environment.

Directions for use

When administered directly to the oral cavity, it is recommended to attach the enclosed applicator to the tube. This will allow easier access to the posterior gums. Externally, the paste should be thoroughly spread over the area using a clean finger. In the oral cavity, the paste is distributed through the tongue of the animal. In order to achieve the best results when used in the oral cavity, Dentihex should be administered after a meal. Dentihex can be administered daily or weekly depending on the needs.

Other information

Dentihex is very well tolerated. In very rare cases, cats may experience drooling. When used for a longer period of time, Dentihex may stain the teeth brown. Your veterinarian can easily remove this stain using ultrasound. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Harmful to aquatic organisms with long-term effects. Avoid release into the environment.
