  • Diosmectite, acute diarrhea in child, baby diarrhea. The active substance used in the DicoStop medical device is diosmectite, a natural clay with strong absorbent properties. The product is recommended for the treatment of chronic and acute diarrhea in children over 1 year of age.

Composition:
One sachet: active ingredient: diosmectite - 1.5g and auxiliary substances: purified water, EDTA, karaya gum, sodium methylparaben, sucrose esters and fatty acids, flavors, citric acid, sodium benzoate, sucralose.

Action: A
liquid medical device for use in the treatment of acute or chronic diarrhea. Diosmectite contained in sachets is a natural clay. Thanks to its unique absorption capacity, it contributes to absorbing moisture in the intestinal lumen, simultaneously absorbs bacteria and viruses, compacts fecal mass and slows down the excretion of stool. In addition, the DicoStop medical device can be used in the case of pain, which accompanies disorder of the digestive tract.

Application:
DicoStop medical device intended for use in the treatment of both chronic and acute diarrhea.

Additional information:
Keep the product out of reach of children at room temperature. It should be protected against moisture, heat sources and light. Disposable sachet, unremarkable leftovers are not suitable for use, they should be discarded. In case of any adverse reactions (eg intestinal pain, constipation, bloating), stop using the preparation and consult a physician. Consult your physician if you use other preparations that contain diosmectite, clay or aluminum compound. Diosmectite contained in the preparation may interfere with other medicines.

Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the medical device. Do not use in children under the age of 1. Do not use in case of stomach or intestinal damage, as well as in case of chronic constipation or irritation and intestinal obstruction.

Usage:
In children from 6 to 12 years of age, it is recommended to give one sachet 2-3 times a day. In children from 1 to 6 years of age it is recommended to administer one sachet 1-2 times a day. The contents of the sachet should be consumed immediately after opening. Before opening, you should vigorously squeeze the sachet. The contents of the sachet can be administered directly into the mouth or it can be dissolved in a glass of water, juice or yogurt. In small children it is recommended to administer after mixing the contents of the sachet with 50ml of water or milk, the portion should be divided into 2-3 doses during the day. It is recommended to use the preparation between meals. In the case of acute diarrhea, it is recommended to additionally administer an oral irrigation fluid. The maximum can be used for 10 consecutive days, in the absence of improvement, consult a physician. For diarrhea persisting longer than 3 days, please contact your doctor. Do not use the product in a lying position. Do not exceed recommended servings for consumption during the day.
