Product information "KlauSan® Paste Dr. Schaette"

KlauSan® Paste Dr. Schaette is traditionally used as a mild medicine to cover and disinfect claw wounds, as well as to strengthen and reinforce horn growth after claw injuries. The honey and larch resin it contains give the paste a slightly sticky texture, allowing it to adhere optimally to the injury and the ingredients to take effect. Depending on the location of the injury, a bandage can be applied.

Active ingredients:
Honey, larch turpentine, thick extract of echinacea herb (5:1), extraction agent: ethanol 70% (v/v).

Other ingredients:
White clay, propylene glycol.

Dosage instructions, type, and duration of application:

For single use. KlauSan® Paste Dr. Schaette is applied to the cleansed, excised claw wound or injury. To close the wound, press a cotton ball into the wound and apply a pressure bandage with an elastic bandage.

Thick extract of echinacea herb (5:1)
(extraction agent: ethanol 70% (V/V)) 		4.0 g

Other ingredients: White clay, propylene glycol

Areas of use
Traditionally used as a mild medicine to cover and disinfect hooves and claws and to strengthen and reinforce horn growth after hoof and claw injuries.

Contraindications
Do not use in cases of known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients or to Asteraceae.
Do not use on skin or mucous membranes.
