active ingredient: povidone (K25).

Areas of application: This drug is a tear substitute: Symptomatic treatment of dehydration of the cornea and conjunctiva (dry eye) due to tear secretion and tear dysfunction, as a result of local or systemic diseases, in the case of insufficient or incomplete eyelid closure, which can be caused by e.g. B. can express in burning eyes, foreign body sensation and photophobia in wind and heat as well as tiredness of the eyes; Wetting and rewetting of soft and hard contact lenses even while they are being worn. The unpreserved Vidisept ^® EDO ^® is particularly suitable for patients who cannot tolerate preserved tear substitutes.

I have a little bit of solution left in the one-dose ophthalmic solution after use, can I use it again?
Vidisept ^® EDO ^® eye drops do not contain any preservatives. Opened one-dose ophtiols must therefore not be stored. The remaining amount in the ophthalmic product after use should be discarded.

How are Vidisept ^® EDO ^®To keep eye drops?
Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children and do not store it above 25 ° C.

How should Vidisept ^® EDO ^® be dosed?
The recommended dose is 1 drop in the conjunctival sac 3 to 5 times a day or more often, as required. The number of applications can be increased individually depending on the severity of the symptoms.

Effective for mild symptoms of dry eyes
Vidisept ^® EDO ^®are clear eye drops for the treatment of mild or occasional discomfort with dry eyes. The proven active ingredient povidone adheres well to the cornea and conjunctiva and provides the eye with sufficient moisture. Unpleasant symptoms such as tired and burning eyes, the grain of sand effect and increased sensitivity to light are effectively alleviated. Suitable for wetting and re-wetting of all contact lenses, even while they are being worn.

The tear film
Every day we blink our eyes around 14,000 times. With every blink of the eye, a wafer-thin film of tears is distributed over the eye, which keeps the surface of the eye smooth, clean and moist and protects the eye from harmful substances. If the amount or composition of the tear film is disturbed, symptoms of drying out of the cornea and conjunctiva can result, resulting in burning, dryness, sensation of pressure and foreign bodies as well as sensitivity to light.

APPLICATION VIDISEPT EDO povidone (K25) RECOMMENDATION:
Tilt your head back slightly and hold the one-dose ophthalmic tube vertically over your eye without touching it. With one finger of your free hand, gently pull the lower eyelid downward. Then close your eye, move it slightly to the right and left and blink to distribute the drop optimally on the surface of the eye. Repeat the application on the other eye.

The content of the single-dose ophthalmic ophthalmic solution is sufficient for use in both eyes. Immediately after application, blurred vision may occur for a short time. During this time, no machines should be operated, work should not be carried out without a secure hold, and no road traffic should be taken.

SCREEN WORK
Many people suffer from dry, irritated and burning eyes due to their daily work at the computer screen. Vidisan ^® EDO ^® alleviates the discomfort and makes work a pleasure again.

CONTACT LENSES
The lenses should be removed before the application of the eye drops and should only be reinserted after approx. 15 minutes.

ENVIRONMENTAL INFLUENCES
Eye irritation can have a variety of causes, for example physical or chemical stimuli to which one is exposed on a daily basis, for example smoke, wind, dust particles, bright sunlight, pollen, cosmetics and chlorinated water. Often, overexertion of the eyes leads to the typical symptoms of irritated eyes - they burn, itch and tear, the sensitive conjunctiva of the eyes is reddened. Vidisan ^® EDO ^® is a beneficial solution for irritated and reddened eyes in these situations.

PREGNANCY
During pregnancy, the hormonal balance changes and also affects the tear film. Dry eyes are therefore very often a side effect, but can be relieved with eye drops.
