  • Bepanthen Plus Cream is recommended for the prevention of infection of wounds (abrasions, cuts, cracks, burns and skin irritation). Damage and skin wounds after minor surgical procedures.

1 g of Bepanthen Plus Cream contains 50 mg 5 mg dexpanthenol and chlorhexidine dihydrochloride.



Bepanthen Plus Cream, abrasions, cuts, cracks, burns and skin irritation Action:


Absorbed through the skin, dexpanthenol is converted to pantothenic acid, which plays an important role in cellular metabolism as a component of CoA. It also takes part in the construction of the skin and mucous membranes, and accelerates wound healing by stimulating mitosis and affect the collagen fibers. Antibacterial chlorhexidine, particularly against Gram-positive bacteria (including Staphylococcus aureus) also shows lower activity against Gram-negative bacteria. It does not show antiviral and antifungal.



Bepanthen Plus Cream Indications:


Preventing infection wounds (abrasions, cuts, cracks, burns and skin irritation). Damage and skin wounds after minor surgical procedures.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the preparation ingredients, sunburn. No application to the eyes and mucous membranes.

Undesirable effects:
Rare hypersensitivity reactions.

Interactions:
Bepanthen Plus Cream is not compatible with a chemical soap and other anionic surfactants - the product should not be used in conjunction with other antiseptics.

Dosage Bepanthen Plus Cream, abrasions, cuts, cracks, burns and skin irritation:
Once or several times a day with a layer of Bepanthen Plus Cream on the affected skin.
