In dry skin and skin prone to atopic dermatitis, the skin barrier is compromised. The cells in the outermost layer of skin are no longer evenly and densely arranged. This causes the skin to lose moisture and dry out easily. Furthermore, pathogens, allergens, or irritating substances can penetrate from the outside and trigger inflammatory reactions. The moisture loss and the inflammatory reaction further damage the compromised skin barrier—creating a complex of problems. Consistent and regular care is extremely important to break the problem of dry skin and restore the skin barrier.

The innovative medical skin care Bionorica® Derma Line contains a unique combination of ginger, cannabidiol (CBD), and shea butter. It thus offers a triple effect of regeneration, protection, and moisture. Bionorica® Derma Line was deliberately developed without synthetic fragrances, paraffins, and silicones to meet the needs of children and adults with dry skin.

The Bionorica® Derma Line portfolio offers both basic and intensive care. Basic care is for daily use and improves the skin's condition. This includes lotion, hand cream, and facial care. Atopi Intensive Care was specially developed for very dry, itchy, and irritated problem areas and during atopic dermatitis flare-ups. It relieves the particularly distressing symptoms of very dry skin or skin prone to atopic dermatitis, such as reddened, flaky patches and annoying itching.

Investigation of epidermal intercellular lipid content and epidermal intercellular lipid lamellar structures in 16 adult atopic dermatitis sufferers in a clinical study (N=94) on the 3-month application of Bionorica® Derma Line Lotion (twice daily) and intensive care (as needed). Non-invasive sampling was performed using Lipbarvis® strips. Lipid analysis was performed using high-performance thin-layer chromatography (HPTLC), and lipid structures were visualized and analyzed using transmission electron microscopy (TEM).

RECOMMENDED USE:
The basic care product is for daily use on dry skin and skin prone to atopic dermatitis. It can be applied several times a day if needed. Atopi Intensive Care is applied as needed to very dry, itchy, and irritated skin areas and during atopic dermatitis flare-ups.

• Facial care : For basic daily care for dry skin prone to atopic dermatitis, especially for the face. The lighter cream is less greasy and, thanks to its hyaluronic acid content, provides even more moisture for a quickly smoothing effect.

• Hand cream : For basic daily care for dry skin and skin prone to atopic dermatitis, for stressed and stressed hands. It absorbs quickly, is non-sticky, and leaves hands noticeably softer.

• Atopi intensive care : For intensive care of problem areas on very dry skin and skin prone to atopic dermatitis. It effectively relieves itching and redness.

Does the skin care absorb well?
We deliberately ensured that the products were easy to apply, absorbed quickly, and didn't stick.

What do the products smell like?
For the best possible tolerability, the Bionorica® Derma Line medical skin care products were deliberately developed without synthetic fragrances, paraffins, and silicones. Smell perception varies from person to person, but some users detect a subtle ginger scent.

When should I use basic care and when should I use Atopi intensive care?
Basic care for daily use on dry skin and skin prone to atopic dermatitis. Atopi intensive care, thanks to a higher concentration of ginger and CBD, is specifically designed for daily use on problem areas (reddened, itchy, flaky skin) on very dry skin prone to atopic dermatitis, and during atopic dermatitis flare-ups.

Can Bionorica® Derma Line also be applied to skin that is already irritated by itching/scratching, or to areas of open skin that may have become irritated due to itching/scratching?
Bionorica Derma Line®, especially Atopi intensive care, can be applied to irritated skin. Bionorica Derma Line has not been tested on open skin. We advise against applying the products to open skin.

Are Bionorica® Derma Line products vegan?
All four Bionorica® Derma Line products are vegan.
