The Altronix MAXIMAL33 is a versatile power supply that is perfect for access control systems, CCTV, fire alarms, and POIP applications. It converts 115VAC to 12VDC or 24VDC, offering 16 fuse-protected outputs for devices like Mag Locks and Electric Strikes. With features like Fail-Safe/Fail-Secure support, fire alarm disconnect, and emergency egress, it's designed to enhance system performance and efficiency, integrating seamlessly with professional security systems.

Power supply input options:

  • Two (2) common power input for either ACM8 and lock power (factory installed).
  • Two (2) isolated power inputs (external power supply is required), (current is determined by the power supply connected, not to exceed a maximum of 10A total).
  • Sixteen (16) Access Control System trigger inputs.

Input options:

  • Sixteen (16) normally open (NO) inputs.
  • Sixteen (16) open collector inputs.
  • Any combination of the above.

Output

  • 12VDC and/or 24VDC outputs.
  • Maximum output current Options:
    • A) 12VDC @ 5.5A plus 12VDC @ 5.5A.
    • B) 24VDC @ 5.7A plus 24VDC @ 5.7A.
    • C) 12VDC @ 5.5A plus 24VDC @ 5.7A.

Output options:

  • a) Sixteen (16) Fail-Safe and/or Fail-Secure power outputs.
  • b) Sixteen (16) form "C" 5A rated relay outputs.
  • c) Any combination of the above.
  • Sixteen (16) auxiliary power outputs (unswitched), (outputs are rated 3.5A).
  • Filtered and electronically regulated outputs (built-in power supply).
  • Thermal and short circuit protection with auto reset.

Fuse Ratings

  • Power Supply input fuse rated @ 3.5A/250V.
  • ACM8 boards main fuse is rated at 10A.
  • Output fuses are rated @ 3.5A.

Features

  • Fire Alarm disconnect (latching or non-latching) is individually selectable for any or all of the sixteen (16) outputs.
  • Fire Alarm disconnect input options:
      • a) Normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) dry contact input.
      • b) Polarity reversal input from FACP signaling circuit.
  • Alarm output relay indicates that FACP input is triggered (form "C" contact rated @ 1A 28VDC).

Supervision

  • AC fail supervision (form "C" contacts).
  • Notification trigger is selectable for 30 seconds (factory set) or 6 hours.
  • Low battery and battery presence supervision (form "C" contact).

Battery Charging

  • Capacity: 12AH/12VDC (4 within enclosure); 40AH/65AH (requires separate enclosure).
  • Type: Sealed lead acid or gel type.
  • Failover: Upon AC loss, instantaneous.
  • (Batteries are sold separately).

Visual Indicators

  • Red LEDs indicate outputs are triggered (relays energized).
  • Green LED indicates FACP disconnect is triggered.
  • AC input and DC output LED indicators
