Valerian & hops - the "dream team"
The well-tolerated combination preparation made from valerian and hops supports our sleep processes in a natural way by supporting the body's own "tired man" adenosine and the sleep hormone melatonin.

If a body cell consumes energy during the waking phase, the residue adenosine is produced. This binds to specific receptors in the brain and plays a key role in building up daily sleep pressure. During sleep, the adenosine is broken down again and the cycle starts again the next day. Thanks to a special extraction process, the special extract contained in ALLUNA ^® is particularly rich in so-called "sleep lignans". These act on the same receptors in the brain as the body's own adenosine and have a calming and sleep-inducing effect.

The darker the light in the area, the more the neurotransmitter melatonin is released in the brain and the more tired the person becomes.
