  • GROPRINOSIN GEDEON RICHTER this oral drug responsible for antiviral activity. GROPRINOSIN helps to stimulate the cellular response of the immune system. It soothes infections caused by viruses.

 

Composition GROPRINOSIN:


The active substance is inosine pranobex (complex containing inosine and 4-acetamidobenzoesan 2-hydroksypropylodimetyloamoniowy in a molar ratio of 1: 3).

GROPRINOSIN Other ingredients include:
starch, potato starch, povidone K-25, and magnesium stearate.

GROPRINOSIN Action:
The product operates on the basis of inosine pranobex, which is characterized by antiviral properties. This is the result of stimulation of a cellular response of the immune system that is associated with lymphocytes grasicozależnymi. Stimulates the maturation and differentiation of cells grasicozależnych normalizes function of T cytotoxic and helper cells, and NK regulator, included in the first line of anti-viral protection. The medicament also increases synthesize some of the antibodies (IgG). This contributes to an intensification of the synthesis and secretion of cytokines involved in the antiviral response: 1 and interleukin 2 (IL-1, IL-2) and interferon gamma (IFN-gamma). Supports the storage and stimulation of cells involved in immune response: neutrophils, monocytes and macrophages.

Contraindications GROPRINOSIN:
- Hypersensitivity to the active components of the preparation
- pregnancy and lactation
- attack of gout or increased uric acid levels in the blood.

GROPRINOSIN Indications:
It is recommended that the formulation infections of the skin and mucous membranes caused by herpes simplex virus types 1 and 2 (cold sores) and Varicella zoster (chicken pox, shingles), as well as in other infections caused by viruses (eg. Subacute sclerosing panencephalitis). Also recommended alternative, with reduced immunity.

Dosage GROPRINOSIN:
For oral use. For adults, it is recommended to use a dose of 50 mg / kg body weight per day, usually 1 g (2 tablets) x 3-4 / 24. Do not take more than 4g (8 tablets) / 24h.
Children after 1 year of age administer 50 mg / kg. daily in divided doses.
