  • PREGNAMED Folic acid is a product, which is involved in cell division. Effectively reduces the likelihood of neural tube defects in the developing fetus.

Composition:
two tablet contains 400 mcg folic acid (folic acid), the filler microcrystalline cellulose, dicalcium phosphate; anti-caking agent: magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide.

Action:
PREGNAMED Folic acid is a dietary remedy for special medical purposes. It consists of folic acid, which plays an extremely important role during growth and development. Participates in the process of cell division. Positively affects the development of the nervous system. Its corresponding level in women planning to become pregnant and non-pregnant contributes to a significant reduction of risk of congenital neural tube defects in the fetus. PREGNAMED Folic acid is in the form of tablets intended for oral use.

Contraindications:
- allergic to the constituent substances of the preparation

Indications:
It is recommended to use the product in women wishing to have children and who are pregnant in order to prevent the occurrence of neural tube defects in the fetus. The product is also indicated for prophylaxis in women of childbearing age.

Dosage:
For oral use. As part of the prevention of all women of childbearing age it is recommended to use 1 tablet (0.4 mg) / 24. Three months before conceiving a child and in the first trimester of pregnancy is recommended to use 1-2 tablets (0.4-0.8 mg) / 24.
